Whispering Hills has issued a complete FIRE BAN effective immediately.
The ban restricts all open fires including burn barrels, recreational fire pits, fireworks and charcoal barbecues. Gas fired appliances are still permitted.
Whispering Hills urges everyone using an ATV to be mindful of debris collecting on the exhaust which could result in ignition of surface fuels (grass/stubble, etc.). Anyone who has conducted open burning during the winter is reminded to check their burn sites to ensure they are completely extinguished.
